Jira Mobile Connect is a library provided by Atlassian to enable application communication directly with Jira. Just enable the Plugin in your Jira instance and start creating feedback from your application, have conversations with the user and report on crashes. Jira Mobile Connect is an open source library and is currently available for iOS.

FEATURE ONE: IN-APP FEEDBACK

Jira Mobile makes it easy to allow the user to provide feedback. The user can send a text message and include voice recordings and snapshots. No longer does the programmer need to read through Twitter feeds and email messages.

FEATURE TWO: IN-APP CONVERSIONS

Adding comments in Jira will also start a conversation with the user directly in the application. There is no need to exchange email or instant messages. All the comments are logged in Jira when you engage the user in the solution process.

FEATURE THREE: CRASH REPORTING

The Jira Mobile JDK provides a built-in crash reporting mechanism that sends realtime reports to Jira, including version information for iOS, the application and the device. The SDK also enables the submission of additional data such as location, time and device orientation. Application data can be mapped to custom fields in Jira, allowing you to get the full data set for the application.
