IS IT A TURN-OFF? - Gmail's Conversation View
Stack 'em or List 'em?
The author of the above blog link, Wiltse Carpenter, compares Gmail's conversation view to cilantro saying you either love it or you hate it. I can't agree, you see, I'm sometimes in the mood for cilantro (like on street tacos!) and then other times it just sounds wrong and excessive (like Baja Fresh does it... to much!).
Anyway, for me Gmail's conversation view of email is the tortilla (sticking with the taco motif) in that without it, I'm left with a mess of ingredients on my plate with nothing to help me consume them. Yet, over the years of moving our clients to the Gmail, I've heard my share of complaints about Gmail conversation view, especially from the Outlook faithful. Well, Google's now made this an option, which is sure to please both cilantro lovers and the haters!

Google Apps - More Services Available for Early Adopters
As a long time user of the Google Apps collaboration application and Google "proper" services, I've been wanting to consolidate all of my Google tools into the same toolbox. And, since Google Apps (and Gmail) is were I spend the majority of my time, I wanted to make that the toolbox for everything. In addition to the Google Apps service (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sites and Video) I also used another of other services (Google Voice, Blogger, Alerts, Finance, etc.) that were tied to a different Google account (think @gmail.com rather than @mydomain.com). Well, Google has taken the first steps to remedy this scenario. Now, for earlier adopters, we're able to pull these core Google services into our Google Apps toolbox and use them in a much more integrated way. Trust me, this is huge. I look forward to even more Google services making their way to the Apps side!

Google Docs Revision History Receives a Much Needed Update
Google recently gave it's Docs Revision History feature a... well revision. Honestly, this was a needed update. While the previous version of Revision History was very useful for reverting back to earlier versions of your documents, when it came to comparing different revisions, it was almost useless. we've been able to see the changes which a particular user made but making sense of the revision as a whole as not ideal. This recent update has a great feature (see image to the left), a window that allows you to click on specific revisions of the document and clearly see which users contributed and the exact content they authored. Additionally, you're now able to dig deeper into the revision history by selecting the "Show more revisions" button. Overall, this is a much needed and significant update to Google Documents.
