Add-On Spotlight of the Month: Tempo Timesheets 8.0
We’re huge fans of Tempo Timesheets here at Isos, and we’re pretty stoked about all of the fantastic new features in the latest version (8.0). In case you didn’t know, Tempo Timesheets is a perfect time-tracking and reporting add-on for teams using JIRA. Here’s a comprehensive list of what to expect from v8.0:
- Automatic integration with your calendar, so meetings you’ve scheduled become planned time, which can then be converted into logged time.
- Resource planning is no longer constricted to just a team view. Now you can view resources across groups, which makes team capacity planning infinitely easier.
- Better expense management. Expenses can now be logged directly in JIRA issues and associated with JIRA projects and customer accounts.
These are just three of our favorite new features in Tempo Timesheets 8.0, but there are plenty more! Click here for more information
From Barley to Beer: Brewing the Perfect Service Desk
Isos is excited to join forces with Atlassian to bring several informative ITSM events to cities across the nation. We’ve dubbed this series of events “From Barley to Beer: Brewing the Perfect Service Desk”–apropos because they will all take place at brewing companies across the U.S.! We’ll have several guest speakers from Atlassian, and a few of our customers will even drop by to share their tips and tricks for creating a perfect service desk solution for your business. You’ll find out how your teams can combine strong ITSM frameworks like ITIL and discover Atlassian’s approach to ITSM.
We’ll be kicking off this series in San Diego, so if you’ll be in the area on February 22nd, please stop by Karl Strauss Brewing Company at 5:30 PM. We’ll also host this event in Phoenix in late March and in Boston in late April. More details to follow in our next newsletter!
Did You Know?
…that we are now considered Atlassian Platinum Solution Partners? This is great way for Atlassian to benchmark partners! If you’re interested in taking any of Atlassian’s exams or certifications, just let us know and we’ll be happy to provide you with coaching and/or training.
…that Isos recently added two Senior Atlassian Consultants to the fold? Sean Parchmann joins us from JP Morgan Chase & Co., and Trevan Householder most recently worked at Infusionsoft. We’re very excited to have them aboard!
…that Isos offers monthly support for your Atlassian tools administration? We can help with upgrades, patches, coaching, and even configuration challenges like complex workflows, integrations and new add-ons. You name it, we can do it!
…that Alektorophobia is an actual term for the fear of chickens?

Time for Some (Pre) Spring Cleaning
Did you know that Monday, February 13th was National Clean Out Your Computer Day? No, we’re not kidding. We’re guessing that some techies created this holiday to remind themselves to purge unnecessary files and programs and organize existing ones.
Speaking of which…spring is almost upon us, which means it’s time to engage in some major seasonal cleaning! If you find yourself in need of a JIRA or Confluence cleanup, Isos can perform an information architecture review that will help you streamline your Confluence pages, archive old, irrelevant ones, and prune unused workflows and custom fields in JIRA. We’ll also dig deep to figure out how you can optimize your Atlassian toolset. Please contact me if you’d like to get the ball rolling on some Atlassian spring cleaning! Hope to hear from you soon!
